Capítulo 10. Estrategias de gestión administrativa para mejorar el desempeño de las Mipymes en Baja California.: Un enfoque basado en ecuaciones estructurales
Synopsis
This chapter assesses which administrative-management strategies improve the business results of micro, small, and medium enterprises (Mipymes) in Baja California. Based on a 2022 survey of 642 owners/managers using Likert-scale items, it applies structural equation modeling supported by exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, including second-order constructs for market development and financial management. The model tests six hypotheses linking human-resource management and market development to innovation and finance, and ultimately to firm results. Evidence supports five relationships: market development strengthens innovation and financial management, and both improve results; human-resource management improves finance but not innovation. The chapter concludes with recommendations on training, market intelligence, and digital adoption.
